JetBrains has recently released RubyMine 2023.1.3, bringing numerous improvements and features to the table. One of the most notable enhancements is the usability improvement in the Add action dialog, which provides better performance when working with projects in WSL2.

Another significant addition is the ability to use Remote Development functionality in a more efficient way. Instead of running a full IDE on Windows, users can now launch their IDE backend directly in WSL2 itself, making it easier to work with projects that run in WSL2 file systems.

Additionally, RubyMine 2022.3 allows developers to use the remote Ruby interpreter installed on Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL and WSL2) for their local projects. This feature enables a more streamlined development process.

The new version also includes several other improvements, such as displaying a finger cursor pointer when hovering over navigation buttons in plugins navigation, showing a label for empty state on the What's new tab in plugins overview, and allowing the action tree to take up the full available height of the dialog with rescaling capabilities.

Furthermore, JetBrains has added support for RBS type provision when calling a method reference. This feature enables users to access more detailed information about methods, such as parameter names, by selecting the method and pressing Ctrl+P or clicking View | Parameter Info.
