Download Dragon Quest 3 HD: What We Know So Far

Square Enix has recently confirmed that the Octopath Traveler team, led by Tomoya Asano, is working on the remake of Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. The game is set to release in Japan by the end of 2021 on iOS and Android, with a worldwide release to follow later. Fans of the JRPG genre are eagerly waiting for more information about the release date and whether it will arrive in 2022.

The remake uses the same graphics style as Octopath Traveler, but no gameplay was shown in the game's trailer. However, it appears to be a variant of a Match 3-style game. The presentation also featured Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi!, a mobile-only puzzle game.

While we don't know much about the game yet, Square Enix has announced five new Dragon Quest games as part of their 35th Anniversary stream. One of these titles is the remake of Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. Unfortunately, there's no release date or platform information available at this time. Hopefully, we'll learn more about these games in the coming months.

It's possible that some of the announced titles will make their way to the Nintendo Switch, and a few have already been confirmed for a Western release. However, it remains unclear which games will be released on the Switch or if they will receive a Western release at all. Fans of the Dragon Quest series will have to wait patiently for more information about these exciting new titles.
